Accessibility statement

Dr. Pradeep Albert wants everyone who visits www.drpradeepalbert.com to be able to find what they need, read what interests them, and reach him easily, whatever tools they use to browse the web. We take accessibility seriously, and we treat it as ongoing work rather than a one-time project.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at Level AA. These are the international guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium, and Level AA is the level referenced by United States federal regulations for websites. Meeting WCAG 2.2 AA also meets the WCAG 2.1 AA level those regulations cite.

Where we stand today

The accessibility review of this redesign is in progress. Automated and keyboard checks have identified issues that are being repaired. Human screen reader testing and final verification are still pending, so no conformance claim is made yet.

What we do to keep the site accessible

We build accessibility into the design and the code from the start, using colours that are checked for contrast, real HTML controls that work with a keyboard, and text alternatives for images. Automated and keyboard checks are part of this redesign review. Human screen reader testing remains pending. Our web team, Need Greaters Global, is responsible for accessibility in the design and code of this site, and Dr. Albert himself is responsible for the writing we publish. The ongoing review schedule is awaiting confirmation.

Known limitations

• The animated hero at the top of the home page: the small labels set over the moving star field have not been measured for colour contrast yet, so some of them may sit below the 4.5 to 1 ratio the guidelines ask for. Why: the artwork moves, so a single reading is not enough. Each label has to be measured against the brightest frame of the animation. What we are doing: measure every label against the brightest frame, then lighten the text or put a solid panel behind it wherever it falls short, Completion date: To be confirmed. In the meantime, the same headline, summary and links appear as ordinary text further down the home page and on the about page, and the animation stops completely when your device is set to reduce motion.
• Videos embedded from YouTube and Vimeo: the player controls and the captions inside those embeds are built by YouTube and Vimeo, and caption quality varies from one talk to the next. Why: the player runs inside a frame from another company, so we cannot change its controls or its captions ourselves. What we are doing: review every embedded talk for captions and link to a captioned or transcribed version wherever one exists, Completion date: To be confirmed. In the meantime, every video is introduced in text on the page, and you can ask us by email for a transcript of any talk.

Some content on this site comes from other companies, such as the YouTube and Vimeo players that carry his talks and podcast appearances, and the Amazon pages his books link to. We choose these partners with accessibility in mind and we raise problems with them when we find them, but we cannot always fix their content ourselves. If you run into a barrier in one of these tools, tell us and we will help you get to the same information another way.

What this site works with

This site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, with human testing using NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack still pending. It relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. It may not work as well in browsers more than a few years old.

How we checked

Dr. Pradeep Albert assessed this site through self-evaluation by our web team. The current review began on September 10, 2026 and is not yet complete.
